Children's Ministries

But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." ~Matthew 19:14

Through a variety of ministries, we care for and shepherd children. Leaders and helpers are equipped to effectively minister to little ones, while enjoying mutual encouragement and accountability.

Nursery Care

Birth through age 3. Provided for all services (including our Wednesday evening prayer meeting). Main building, lower level.

Comprehensive Sunday School Program

Toddlers (Ages 2 & 3)
Preschool (Age 4 through Grade K)
Primary (Grades 1-3)
Juniors (Grades 4-6)

Awana Clubs, Grades K-6

This year, Calvary has taken a sabbatical from AWANA, However, in previous years, Calvary has hosted an AWANA program. AWANA gives children an opportunity to learn the Word of God in a fun atmosphere. Its goal is to see children come into a genuine saving relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their faith through a vast Bible memory program (Psalm 119:9), and help them assume their places of responsibility in the local church family.
