This week in Sunday school, we look at Jesus’ assertion of Himself as the bread of life. What does it mean that Jesus is the bread of life or that believers must “eat Jesus’ flesh and drink Jesus’ blood?” How does Jesus’ teaching on the subject connect with the miraculous feeding of the 5,000 or the Lord’s Supper? And how does Jesus’ teaching expose those who follow Him for the wrong reasons?
Our main text for the lesson will be John 6:1-15, 22-71.
