Joe first came to know the Lord while serving as a United States Marine aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga. After his tour, Joe entered Northeastern Bible College, where he completed his B.A. in Biblical Literature and began preaching evangelistic messages in nearby churches.

Joe and his wife, Jayne, a biblical counselor, live in Somerset, NJ, and have four children: Rebekah, Naomi, Joshua, and Elizabeth. When he’s not studying or teaching, Joe enjoys weightlifting, eating Thai food, and showing hospitality.

Joe is a passionate preacher committed to expository preaching, explaining the meaning of the Scriptures (including its charges, exhortations, and warnings) as intended by the original authors. He does this through careful study of the surrounding context, the historical background, and the grammatical structure in the original languages. He also believes that all of the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, speak of Jesus Christ, who came into the world to save all who would believe from the penalty of their sin.

His hope for the church is that God’s people might be strengthened in heart as they see more of God and His unfathomable love as displayed in Christ (Ephesians 3:16-19).
